Sustainability has become the universal corporate agenda; SLINTEC employs its no-unsustainable projects policy within all its projects. Not satisfied with merely limiting this to its vision statement and ensuring the continuity of its application in times to come, SLINTEC has designed its board room as a reminder of its ultimate goal.

The SLINTEC vision gazes at every speaker that stands up within the board room, while the SLINTEC values and the UN Global Compact stare back at the audience. Yet most eye-catching of all, are the silent reminders of the adverse effects of development and the measures that should be taken to prevent them that greet whoever enters the board room.

Penguins on their last foot due to global warming, the ever-rising cost of human essentials such as food and water, the tons of waste that already clog the earth without adding Nano-waste to the equation are but a few of the adversities created by mankind. Utilization of eco-friendly energy sources and sustainable consumption stand at the other end of the room reminding the possibility of sustainable development.

Constantly reminding SLINTEC’s staff and visitors of the possibilities that Nanotechnology is capable of, the SLINTEC Sustainability Room is the very embodiment of SLINTEC’s vision & values and all that it stands for.
